"Getting Your Money's Worth" with Judith West
|Edward F. Cox|
- Former Chair, SUNY Charter Schools Institute
A new study by Stanford Economist Caroline Hoxby leaves little doubt that students benefit from attending a New York City Charter School. Hoxby's findings were so strong about achievement, she was able to estimate that if Harlem students went to a charter school K-8, they would close 86 percent of the best score gap when compared to Scarsdale, New York. Ed Cox, founder of the Charter Schools Institute and former aurthorizer of charter schools in New York State, appears on Getting Your Money's Worth with Judith West.
